1: No option to add photos in photo album

The option to add photos is not available i.e. we cannot add photos to existing or new photo albums either singly or in Zip file format.

I have checked permissions - all seems OK.

Muppet alert! Please ignore the Bug Report it was my misunderstanding - I created a Folder not an Album. Now that I have created an Album, I can add photos. Simple when you understand it...
