I've changed the map in the Contact Information includelet (which is on all site homepages by default) to use an embedded Google map rather than an image.

This means that the map is always the 'perfect' size (the size depends on which column you put the includelet in and the size of the browser), and there's a button to view larger map.

You can now also use the Contact Information includelet with a custom address, rather than the address in the site information. Useful if your organisation has more than one location, or if you want to tweak the address to get a better map.

Note also that if you have a Google Business listing for your organisation, then if you add this into your address then the map will highlight it for you. Rather like it does on the demo site here.
