One the CMS functionalities is to be able to set up a discussion between registered members. As an experiment I have set up a discussion for members of the Choir to come up with song suggestions. I have just discovered that by posting a suggestion on the system an email has gone out to all members. Does this mean that each time some else in the choir were to post a song suggestion everyone would receive an email alert?
Has anyone else any experience of using this facility? Posting ideas on a website is one thing, but for then an email to be sent out to everyone is another.

Emails are sent to members of your site who have opted to receive notifications. Members can at any time turn off notifications if they find them annoying.
