Hi all,

Last year we updated Voice to support https for your website. Currently your site can be accessed using either http or https, only forcing users to use https if they wish to log in.

On March 1st 2018 we are going to start redirecting ALL website visitors to https.

You don't need to do anything to make this happen.

Before this happens you may wish to check that your site is working fine using https. It is very likely that your site will work perfectly and nobody will notice the change. The only thing that might cause a problem is if you have a custom theme or have embedded content that explicitly uses http. If this is the case, simply update your site to use https for all content and all will be well.

If you're updating your site I also recommend that you switch to using the Bootstrap or Modern theme, if you aren't doing already. These two themes work much better than the others on mobile and tablet devices.

With these changes, all sites will be more secure and work great on mobile devices, which will also give your site a boost in Google rankings.

Thanks

I have now enabled "HTTPS Always" for all e-voice sites.

There should be no problems for any sites, but if there are please do get in touch.

Use the forums if you have any specific questions as then others can learn from the answers too.

Thanks
