Very quiet this month. There are still issues with surface water flooding at the bottom of Raikes Road. There is damage to the road surface by the gulley which appears to be blocked. There are more than 30 reports on this gulley, some going back to Jan 2025. The LCC website states work is ongoing. There were a couple of flood alerts issued this month but no reports of flooding in the village. One of the alerts appeared to be important that emergency contact details were also issued.

Checks on the radio system were carried out on Thursday 18th December, due to the position on Christmas Day. No issues. Next test is 29th January
