Flooding in Copp Lane
There has always been an issue with flooding in Copp Lane but this has increased with the building works. Iy is important that if you drive in Copp Lane and it is flooded then drive on the crown of the road, slowly as the bow wave you create will only wash into the fields and back onto the road bringing debris onto the surface.
Coninued issue
Recent reports have been sent to me regarding the surface water especially in wet weather. The traps have been cleared as have the dykes. This has been reported and will be monitored by the FLAG. It is important, however, to report any incidents of flooding.
