Health and Safety Policy

The Policy of The Friends of Sutton Green, so far as is reasonably practicable, is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work foreveryone involved in any events we are organising and to provide such information, training and supervision as are needed for this purpose.

The Friends of Sutton Green Committee will endeavour to ensure, so far as it is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all event visitors and others who may visit a Friends of Sutton Green event.

The policy will be kept up to date and it and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed regularly and the appropriate changes made.

In order to ensure that health and safety matters are kept constantly under review, health and safety will be a part of the planning for any events organised by The Friends of Sutton Green Committee.

Voluntary workers will be consulted regularly in order to seek their views on health and safety matters.

This policy was adopted at a meeting of The Friends of Sutton Green on 22nd October 2020. It will be reviewed at least every 2 years.
