**** The 2023 Summer Community Fayre ****

The Friends of Sutton Green are proud to put on our third Fayre on Sutton Green. Come along with the children and enjoy the day, meet new friends and look around the many stalls and displays on Sutton Green. Try your hand at 'Splatting a Rat' or on the tombola and perhaps even come away with a prize!  The event starts at midday so don't be late!

**** Litter Pick third Saturday of every month ****

Our monthly Litter Pick day comes round regularly on the third Saturday of each month. We meet at the Cafe on The Green at 11:00. All equipment will be provided - picking sticks, gloves, bags etc. Why not come along and join our friendly group of volunteers and perhaps even stay on afterwards and have a cuppa with new friends!

**** 2022 Summer Community Fayre - Photos now available here ****

Well what a day that was! Thank you to everybody who came along and made the day such a success. Our thanks also goes to all the stall holders who came and gave us their support. Special thanks has to go to The Cafe on the Green who made a fun day a tasty one too!  They put together all the childrens treat boxes (all 150 of them) as well as laying on a special BBQ.

**** Friends of Sutton Green - Facebook  ****

DON'T MISS OUT (again?)

The Friends of Sutton Green would encourage everyone not only to join our Facebook page but also to sign up as a member of this website. We keep the pages up to date with all our events and offers and it's a good place just to find out what we're up to.

**** Dinosaur spotted in Victoria Gardens  ****

During a recent Litter Pick in Victoria Gardens we had a shock discovery - Dinosaurs (or more precisely Triceratops) still roam the ancient lands (or even more precisely Victoria Gardens). We have photographic evidence far more convincing than that of the Loch Ness monster!

**** The Cafe on the Green  ****

Hot ChocolateThe Cafe on the Green now has New Management and has already made some really positive changes. As Autumn turns to Winter, why not pop in and have a drink and a bite to eat at the tables at the front, or if it's not warm enough for you, there are tables inside too. If you've not seen it already, take a look at the back of the Cafe - there's new decking and tables and chairs, perfect if the weather is being unseasonably kind.

**** Save money - don't litter  ****

Please be aware Sutton Council have Parks Enforcement Officers who issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) to anyone failing to pick up their dog’s mess or dropping litter, including cigarette ends. It could cost you an on-the-spot £150 Fixed Penalty Notice.

Civil Enforcement Officers are also enforcing any inappropriate parking on the borough's open spaces, including Sutton Green. Anyone parking their vehicles in contravention of clearly displayed signage will face a Parking Charge Notice of £100.
