Pruning and hedge cutting
The Friends of Sutton Green raised the question of overdue maintenance of the trees in Victoria Gardens and the hedges on Sutton Green. The Friends made a start trimming low-lying branches and bushes, but had to seek the assistance of the Council and its contractors to tend the higher reaches.
The trees which had branches sticking out over the pavement on the junction of Bushey Road and High Street have since been pruned back, as have all the hedges alongside the pavement and at the back of the childrens playground.
