Ellerton and Aughton villages are set on the banks of the River Derwent near York. Mentioned in the Domesday book, we have castle remains, a Village Hall, a shop, pub, Golf Club, and the Half Moon micro brewery. Village events, including traditional village fetes, fundraising events & film nights are held regularly.
