The Group was set up to create an ongoing record of Sturmer and it's history available to all who are interested in the history and activities of the village. It has created a heritage trail in the village with information boards and leaflets with the help of a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. We published a book on the history of Sturmer called "Spotlights on the history of Sturmer" in 2026. A few copies are still for sale.
