The next 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is being held on Monday, 18 January 2021, at MEFAS HQ, New Malden.

The EFAW course is suitable for the employed or self employed working in shops, offices and other low risk environments.  The course is also suitable for those seeking or working in the construction industry.  MEFAS also offers enhanced courses for those requiring additional coverage.

The course is particulary useful for persons working in the construction sector where there are qualified First Aiders employed and sub-contractors are required to hold an EFAW certificate to work on site.  Additional training is provided for those working in higher risk areas.

The course fee is £85.00 which covers training costs including a First Aid Manual, student pack and 3 year certificate.  A £10.00 discount is offered for voluntary / third sector attendees (£75.00).  Discounts are also offered for group bookings.

The course includes a varity of life saving techniques for those suffering an injury or developing a condition that requires early medical intervention.
