Unit 2 is the second element of a 12 hour paediatric first aid course which is suitable for childminders, nannies, nursery staff and anyone in contact with children up to secondary school age and babies.  Unit 2 covers fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, head injuries, burns, posions, heat and cold, childhood illnesses and more.

The 2 day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as defined by the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted.  It also meets the new guidelines that came into force on 1 October 2014.  By attending the second day within 8 weeks of Unit 1 will enable a full certificate to be issued.
