Saving space for local wildlife

Friday 24 May 2024
19:00 to 21:00

Love wildlife and want to learn more about protecting local habitat? Then come to our latest FREE talk, at 7pm on Friday 24 May at The Meeting Place in North Street, Westbourne.
Our wildlife is threatened by development, intensive farming, pollution and climate change.
That’s why we need “wildlife corridors” – vital areas of habitat that link the South Downs National Park with the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the coast. Our local corridor broadly follows the lower part of the River Ems.
Westbourne wildlife expert Sarah Hughes, who has extensive experience of working with Chichester District Council and the Arun and Rother Rivers Trust, will be our special guest speaker.
