Why Change?
Moving to a more plant based diet improves health and reduces emissions. Replacing meat, especially red meat, with a plant based protien, such as chick peas or nuts, for half the week can make a big difference.

Why Not Meat?
Food production is responsible for approximately one quarter of all UK emissions. The main reasons are meat production land use (grazing and growing animal food) which occupies about 85% of UK agricultural land, and methane production (especially from cows). Chicken is less impactful than beef.
