The Cricklade Sustainability Project was formed to help Cricklade reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the intensifying impacts of climate change. We seek to create a healthy and sustainable environment, for Cricklade’s people, animals and plants, to thrive together.
We do this by identifying ‘win, win, win’ actions that can benefit health, nature and wallets, while moving to a more sustainable future.
We recognise that flooding, heatwaves and droughts are becoming more frequent and more intense.
Our response to these changes, individually and together, must cover many areas. Like any journey, we need to have an idea of where we are going and start with one step.
We encourage everyone in Cricklade to identify one thing that they could do to make this place a better place. We will seek to bring ideas and resources to help you along the way.
