Anstruther Harbour Festival

The 2016 Anstruther Harbour Festival will be held on Saturday 4 to Sunday 5 June, and will again include the Anstruther Muster of visiting boats, the Classic Boat Rally and the Fisheries Museum Open Day. Saturday will start with a pipe band parade, and there will be a display by top Scottish country dancing troupe Dunedin Dancers, plus an evening ceilidh in the big marquee featuring celebrated local ceilidh band Nackytoosh. On both Saturday and Sunday we'll have 'Anster Fair' - art and crafts, and local artisan food sellers - in a dedicated big marquee on the Folly arbourfront, plus live music and childrens' activities in the Festival's other big marquee on the middle pier, and street entertainers.
Festival Grand Raffle - the Festival will again be running its grand raffle in 2016, with prizes to be awarded at the Festival evening music event on Sunday 5 June. Raffle tickets will be available in local busineeses from early May and will be on sale at the door at the Festival marquees. Last year's Raffle was a great success with lots of fabulous prizes donated by local businesses - including Spindrift Hotel, Cellar Restaurant, Anstruther May Princess Pleasure Cruises, Osprey of Anstruther Rib trips, Craig Millar Restaurant St Monans, East Pier Cafe/Smokehouse St Monans, Boathouse Bar & Bistro Anstruther, Haven Restaurant Cellardyke, Pittenweem Cocoa Tree Chocolates, La Petite Epicerie Deli Anstruther, Ru An Fhodar Smokehouse St Monans, Ardross Farmshop, Crail Smoked-fired Wholefoods Shop, Crail Honeypot Tea Room, Crail Pottery, Balgrove Larder St Andrews, Kingsbarns Distillery, Cambolicious Beer Festival, Days Gone By Jams & Preserves.
