CRA Burns Supper.
Saturday 31 January 2015
19:00 to 23:00
The CRA Burns Supper is a traditional community Burns supper with a distinctively Cellardyke twist. This year the Immortal Memory will be proposed by Jim McArthur of St Andrews Burns Club, and will end as is our tradition with Davie Corstorphine reading from the Cellardyke verse of Poetry Peter. There will be an excellent meal served by David Barnett, traditional toasts and the singing of the songs of Burns. Tickets always sell well, and we suggest you buy your tickets early form the Corner Shop, or contact Allan Mclelland on allanmclelland@btinternet.com to reserve your tickets. As ever, the event takes place in Cellardyke Town Hall, this year on Saturday 31st 2015, opening at 7pm for a 7.30 start and the piping in of the haggis. We do our best to keep the price down, and the ticket price this year for the meal and the evening's entertainment will be £18.50. This will only enable us to break even on the night, plus a small contribution to the CRA funds from the raffle. We operate on the Bring Your Own Bottle principle, so this does help to keep your evening costs down.
