Ignite Event Goes Online!
St. James’ Church, Dengie would have been holding its annual ‘Ignite Event’ this month - it being Ignites 3rd year, but following current Government guidelines the physical event sadly had to be cancelled. The committee decided that in these times of uncertainty it was still important to bring the essence of Ignite, which is light and hope to the community, so working with a number amazing people Ignite will have an Online presence on the 13th and 14th of June.
Through its free annual event St. James’ wishes to unite community and church, there were usually displays, musical acts, local speakers, activities for all ages, stalls and even a free bbq. So although the church is currently not open on Saturday the 13th between 2-3pm and Sunday the 14th between 3-4pm just over an hours worth of content will be available to view – this will include music, poetry and contemplations and words of encouragement.
St. James’ welcomes you to come and join them online during these hours to feel entertained, engaged and encouraged. To find out whatch this space: more next week.
