Bradwell-on-Sea cemetery lych gate in need of restoration.
The Cemetery was opened in the 1880’s when the village churchyard was finally filled. The lych gate structure dates from this time, this beautiful structure is an important feature in our village landscape and in 2018 we restored it for the future.
On Sunday 4th November 2018 St Thomas morning service started at the cemetery with a short service to bless the Lychgate and the new path. Both Revd Steven Poss and Revd Brigid Main said blessings over the cemetery and the restoration work. The congregation then returned to the church and continued with the service.
