Since 2013 we have organised guided walks around Burnley and Padiham cemeteries to highlight the history of the cemeteries and the lives of some of those interred. The headstones themselves sometimes tell much about peoples’ lives or forgotten places and streets but research in local newspapers can reveal much more.

We are more than happy to organise walks for interested groups and organisations and, you can contact us to arrange a suitable theme, date and time.
