City of Edinburgh Council & Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership Meetings & Other Local Activities
Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership
"The Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership was set up to improve life in the local area by gathering the views of local people. Those who live in local communities are the best to ask about local issues and how public services should be delivered. So if you are interested in your local environment, open spaces, young people, safety, or health and leisure, for example, let us know your views and have your say on your area"
- Councillor Nigel Bagshaw
Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership covers the Inverleith ward, which includes the communities of Blackhall, Comely Bank, Craigleith, Drylaw, Inverleith, Dean Village and Stockbridge.
Drylaw and Telford Community Council
Community Councils were first introduced in 1973 to give communities a recognised voice when dealing with local authorities and government departments - community councils have statutory rights and must be consulted on issues like local planning and licensing applications.

Drylaw resident Alex Dale was presented with the Tam Tierney Award for 2013 on 30th May 2013. As in previous years nominations were sought for the Tam Tierney Award. This award is for contribution to community matters in Drylaw area.
