Subject: Rivenhall Integrated Waste Management Facility (Case Ref: ZA43692)
Thank you very much for attending the public meeting held in Coggeshall on Saturday 12 November 2016 to discuss the Rivenhall IWMF.
I was pleased to see such a high turnout and the strong levels of interest in this important matter. As mentioned at the meeting, I am in regular contact with the Environment Agency, Essex County Council and the Government about the facility. While we may not be in apposition to overturn the planning permission granted for the development, there remain many issues that are open for questioning and challenge.
Next week, on Friday 25 November, Essex County Council’s Development and Regulation Committee will be considering the planning application for the water abstraction point. The details can be found online through the weblink below and by entering the reference number ESS/44/16/BTE

In relation to the Environment Agency and the current environmental permit application, I am liaising with Mr Nick Unsworth, Coggeshall Parish Council Chairman, over further questions to put to the EA and Government.
