In honour of American US airmen based in Essex during WWll and specifically the four crew of a returning bomber who crashed and died in our Parish, a marble plaque has been installed in Blackmore's historic St. Laurence Priory Church. A Service of Dedication has been arranged for Saturday 24th September 2022. Further details will be posted on the Council's main website.
