Notice of Meetings
A meeting of the Full Council will take place online (format and timing available via Clerk) on
Thursday 18th March 2021
Until such time as covid restrictions are lifted to allow
a return to physically present meetings, Committees
and the Full Council have adopted procedures endorsed
by the National Association of Local Government and the
Essex Association of Local Councils. These are to ensure
that while continuing to conduct Council business as closely
as possible to normal it remains legally compliant with
emergency regulations in addition to its obligations
to protect the welfare of the community, members, and officers.
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN MAY 2020 WAS CANCELLED BY ORDER OF HM GOVERNMENT.
ELECTIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP ARE NOW SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE IN MAY 2021.
MEMBERS THEREFORE AUTOMATICALLY REMAIN IN APPOINTMENT UNTIL THEN.
IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES THE FOLLOWING WOULD APPLY AND WILL DO SO WHEN
PUBLIC MEETINGS RESUME AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY.
MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
AN OPEN FORUM FOR RESIDENTS' VIEWS OR QUERIES IS ALLOWED FOR 15 MINUTES AT THE START OF EACH REGULAR MEETING (at the AGM this forum follows the appointment of positions of responsibility)
ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND PRESS.
Meetings of the full council are held on the third Thursday of each
month (with the exception of August when no meeting is scheduled).
Dates and venues for meetings of the committees are declared at the preceeding full council meeting and available from the Parish Clerk. All committee meeting are open to the public.
