Essex Coronavirus Action
A new Facebook page has been launched to help Essex residents during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Essex Coronavirus Action is a collaboration between Essex County Council, The Essex Public Health Team, and local Facebook group administrators. It will offer;
- A service to ASSIST vulnerable members of your local community who may need help if they are self-isolating through putting them and their carers/families in touch with individuals or agencies who can assist.
- Advice to help PREVENT people from undertaking activities which may put them at risk.
- Content to INFORM people on updates to the official advice and counter any misinformation.
Registration is now OPEN for any residents or businesses who want to volunteer in their local area. Via the forms below, details will be passed directly to the group or groups that are operating near to you:

The key aim is to rapidly build a large database of volunteers to support those in Essex who will need the support of their wider community.
