USC aims to respond to enquiries as soon as possible. Please provide as much relevant information as you can so that we can direct your enquiry to the right person.

Make a Referral

If you would like to refer a child or young person to USC, please complete the referral form below.

Referrals may come from:

  • parents or carers
  • schools
  • community organisations
  • youth workers
  • social workers
  • local services
  • partner organisations
  • self-referrals from young people, where appropriate

When making a referral, please include details of the young person’s needs, interests, age, parent/carer contact details, and any important safeguarding, health or support information that USC should be aware of.

Please note that submitting a referral does not automatically confirm a place. USC will review the information provided and contact you to discuss the next steps.

Safeguarding and Urgent Concerns

If your enquiry relates to a safeguarding concern, please make this clear in your message so that it can be dealt with appropriately.

USC will take safeguarding concerns seriously and will follow its safeguarding procedures where there may be a risk to a child, young person or adult at risk.

Please note that USC is not an emergency service.

If a child, young person or adult is at immediate risk of harm, or if there is an emergency, please call 999.

For non-emergency police concerns, call 101.

Any personal information submitted through our referral or enquiry forms will be handled confidentially and in line with USC’s Data Protection/GDPR Policy.

We will only use the information provided to respond to your enquiry, manage referrals, keep appropriate records, and meet our safeguarding and legal responsibilities.

Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information unless it is relevant to the referral, enquiry or safeguarding concern.
