Tambu Ayis Support Service provides support, advocacy, awareness and empowerment work around domestic abuse, violence against women and girls, emotional wellbeing and recovery.

Through this connection, USC recognises the importance of trauma-informed practice, family support, safeguarding and creating safe spaces for women, children and young people.

Unity Support Network is a community-based organisation supporting local residents, families, older people, young people and children through activities, social inclusion and community engagement.

USC recognises the importance of specialist domestic abuse services such as Hestia, which support individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.

Partnership links with services such as Hestia help USC to understand the importance of safe, sensitive and appropriate support for children, young people and families who may have experienced trauma or difficult circumstances.

Fitness 4 Life supports health, fitness and wellbeing through physical activity and community-based approaches.

USC values the role of fitness, movement and sport in improving confidence, discipline, emotional wellbeing and positive routines for children, young people and adults.

USC is connected to Carlos Lerma’s wider grassroots sports and football work, including Unity Sports Collective CIC and New Generation London F.C. Ltd.

These links support USC’s commitment to football, mentoring, youth development, positive activities and creating safe spaces where young people can grow, learn and build confidence.

Working Together for Young People

USC understands that sport can be a powerful tool for change. Football and physical activity can help young people develop teamwork, confidence, discipline, communication skills and positive relationships.

By working with partners from different sectors, including sport, community support, domestic abuse services, family support and wellbeing, USC aims to provide a wider network of encouragement and opportunity.
