This year we discovered that our church tower is in need of some restoration work. The last time such work was carried out was 1986. I am sure some of you will remember ‘The Year of the Tower’. During this year many fundraising events were organised and were so well supported that we raised an amazing amount, which topped up our grants received and work was completed.
What is different in 2023 from 1986 is we now have social media and one way we can earn money for our cause, with your help, is ‘easy fundraising.’ How this works is every time you place an order on line you can select ‘St Mary’s ‘ to receive a donation, no cost to you.
