On Saturday 28th October 2023, Berkhamsted Ukulele Random Players (BURP!) are once again hosting an evening of musical mayhem in Haynes Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
The evening will comprise two sessions of music divided by a break for a Fish and Chips Supper, which is included in the ticket price, and a Raffle. The licensed bar will be open and all alcoholic drinks must be purchased at the bar.
As usual the words and ukulele chords for most songs will be projected onto a screen above the band. Audience members with ukuleles are welcome to bring them to the concert and everyone is encouraged to sing and strum along to the songs they know.
This year is the eleventh anniversary of what has become an eagerly anticipated annual event in Haynes and every year has been a sell-out. The ticket price, including supper, is £15 and all proceeds will go to support the upkeep of St Mary’s Church.
