Independence Day - 16th & 17th May

In May 1956 the Club purchased the land on which the bowls club is built from Lord Brownlow. This ended over a thousand years of the Ellesmere Castle site being owned by the Lord of the Manor. To mark the 70 years anniversary we are arranging a social event on the 16th May and an Anglo-Welsh bowls game on the 17th May. Further details can be found in the ‘Latest News’ column on the right.
