Galleywood Festival - Musical workshop 'Pop up' Choir

Following the hugely enjoyable and successful rehearsals and performance of the ‘Gavelwode’ Cantata at last year’s festival, local musician Stephen Rumsey is directing a series of events this year that will provide singers with the opportunity to explore some popular choral classics. These include

Sumer is a-cumin in Anon
Soldiers’ Chorus Gounod
Gloria Vivaldi
You don’t need any previous experience. Copies of the music and digital files are available in advance (contact details below) to help prepare, and even if you can’t read music there is much that you will be able to learn.
These workshops will culminate in a rehearsal and sing through to family, friends and neighbours at St. Michael's Church, Galleywood on Wednesday 25th May from 7.00 pm
