The Society meets at the Trinity Centre, Gainsborough on the first Thursday of every month except January, July and August (when there are no meetings). These monthly meetings commence at 1:45 pm but as there are usually notices etc. before each meeting and as the theatre is fairly large with only two doors, please try to be in the building by 1:35 and seated by 1:40. The lectures start at about 1:55 and are given by lecturers approved by The Arts Society. The lectures are usually ended by 3:05.
Visitors are welcome to attend monthly lectures at a cost of £7 per person, subject to a limit of two visits per year but this charge is refundable if you join the society within that year. A link to register as a visitor for our next lecture is provided here: Visitors to TASGAD Lectures
New members attending their first meeting are welcome to a complimentary tea or coffee in the bar after the lecture - an excellent chance to meet other members.
An all day event, usually including lunch, to give more detailed study of a specific subject. Cost and location announced for each Study Day.

One day and 3 to 4 days – visits to places of interest, usually with a guided tour and sometimes related to an earlier lecture or special interest day. Cost announced for each event.

Membership of The Arts Society Gainsborough & District automatically includes membership of The Arts Society and members receive a free copy of “The Review” the quarterly magazine, as well as being entitled to take up member only offers in that journal. Members may park in the upper section of the Tesco car park if attending TASGAD lectures. It is very important that names and car registration details are logged with Tesco customer services on each occasion. If, despite this, a parking penalty notice is received, take the notice into the store as management staff can over-ride a notice issued erroneously.
