Cranleigh Folk promotes acoustic music in Cranleigh and the surrounding villages. Our usual club nights are usually the second Friday of the month, starting at 8 p.m.

We generally host open singers' nights where local singers and visiting singers and musicians provide the entertainment; traditional, contemporary and original acoustic music. We welcome all musical styles as long as they are acoustic.

Floor singers are welcome - no need to book. We call these 'Singarounds' because we take turns to sing. Newcomers are encouraged - and new performers will be given a friendly reception. Every evening is different, but it’s always good-hearted and enjoyable.

Some of our evenings are 'Showcase' evenings where we give local performers the chance to take the whole second half of the evening and really show us what they can do.

We make a small charge of £4 (card or cash) for singarounds, to cover our costs.

We meet in the Studio, at the back of Peaslake Village Hall.
