It was with great pleasure that the Debating Society met up for the first time since the pandemic began. A variety of topical issues were explored including whether panic buying was inevitable, if vaccinations should be made mandatory, should picketing children at schoolgates be banned, is blocking the M25 is an appropriate way of highlighting global warming and how the current state of the country could be improved. The meeting closed with a reflection on what careers we would have chosen if only we had known better!
