Winter Campaign to Support the City’s most Vulnerable Launched
One Colchester Strategic Partnership has announced the launch of its annual Winter Resilience Campaign.

Supporting the most vulnerable over the coming winter months, the campaign brings together a strategic partnership of public, community and voluntary sector groups who provide funding and community spirit to help residents stay safe, warm, well and connected,

The project provides advice and support through the One Colchester initiative delivering roadshows in the community and distributing winter packs to those affected by the cold weather, including families on low incomes, people living with long-term health conditions or at risk of social isolation.

The launch took place at The One Colchester Community Hub at a cost of living and winter resilience event organised by Community360. The event was supported by over 20 organisations offering information on health, social prescribing and cost of living support.

Have your say on plans for the new Garden Community
Since the end of July 2023 Community360 have attended more than 20 events and network meetings speaking to over 400 people in communities including St Anne’s and St John’s, Wivenhoe, Greenstead and across Colchester Central and South Neighbourhoods.

There will be a second round of consultation running from the 27th November to the 12 December, including face to face and online engagement events.  
We look forward to seeing as many people as possible. 

We have also been welcomed into community groups and would be delighted to come along and speak to any groups and members about how they can get involved. We would love to hear from you, please get in touch.

Give your feedback on proposals for the new Greenstead Multi-use Community Hub which is being developed with residents needs at the heart. 
Drop in and complete the survey at one of the in-person to talk to the architects. The first 30 people at each event will receive a £5 voucher for Kelly’s Kafe:
