We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays
Members sessions are either set to be 'Running' or 'Working'. When classed as 'Running' sessions unless there is some must do repairs you can use whatever layouts we have available. For a 'Working' session at least one of our layouts will be having maintenance or construction going on. The club's two current exhibition layouts, Quarry Halt and Talybont are undergoing fault fixing and some refurbishment following their showing at Amersham's Heritage Day exhibition on 6th September. This leaves both the main 00 gauge and the 0 gauge layouts free for running.
However it is often possible to run something if the work hasn't shut down any layout completely! Of course, the test tracks (00 gauge, EM, 3mm, and TT:120) are always available.
The 00 gauge layout (Farrington Road) is still being developed but unless there is a problem will be available for all Running sessions.
The 0 gauge layout (Dewhurst) is now restored back to its full length and the refurbishment work carries on, full running sessions though are still by agreement.
The club's exhibition layout Quarry Halt continues to be updated and is available for running if required.
There is still uncertainty about the club's future at its present premises so we are meeting as usual on Mondays (1400-1600) and Wednesdays (2000-2200) and getting on with any work or running as needed.
