Stage 3 Consultation
|
Five Estuaries is currently carrying out two focused consultations. The deadline for responding to these consultations is 11:59pm on Wednesday 31 January 2024. The purpose of these consultations is to ensure that the relevant stakeholders potentially affected by changes to the Project have an opportunity to comment before we finalise our application, and that we fulfil all our obligation under the Planning Act 2008. These consultations are: Targeted land interest consultation - Tendring, Essex A targeted consultation with those with an interest in the land affected by changes to our onshore proposals since our Stage 2 consultation. This consultation is specifically being carried out with those with a land interest potentially affected by changes to our proposals. You will have received a letter from the Project if this consultation applies to you. We are only inviting feedback to the consultation from those we have written to, however you are welcome to contact at us at any time with questions or thoughts about the Project. Habitat Compensatory Measures Consultation – East Suffolk A consultation on proposals to improve the habitat for lesser black-backed gulls at a site in East Suffolk near to Orford Ness, to compensate for a potential impact on the species from our proposed offshore wind turbines. These proposals include fencing, managing vegetation, and assessing and controlling predators. The works required are minimal, and would only take a few weeks to complete. More information on Stage 3 Consultation can be found here.
