IMPERIAL WAR GRAVES COMMISSION
Sirs, In consideration of a payment at the rate of ten shillings, per annum for each grave or a proportionate payment for any period less than a year the Haynes Church Council offers to maintain the three war graves in St Mary’s Churchyard identified as stated below, clear of all weeds, stones, loose soil and rubbish, to mow the turf from time to time as occasion shall and with at least sufficient frequency to keep the grass short, require and to fill up, level, and re-turf all holes and bare places.
This agreement may be terminated at any time by the Imperial War Graves Commission by one month’s previous notice in writing.
