Lush

Lush believes in buying ingredients only from companies that do not commission tests on animals and in testing the products on humans. They invent our own products and fragrances and make them fresh by hand using little or no preservative or packaging, using only vegetarian ingredients and tell you when they were made. Lush believes in happy people making happy soap, putting their faces on their products and making mums proud. Lush believes in long candlelit baths, sharing showers, massage, filling the world with perfume and in the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again. With consistent support from loyal customers and good reviews, why not start testing some of their products and smelling fabulous minus the harm of animals!

Vandanamu Ethical Cottons

Vandanamu Ethical Cottons produce and supply bespoke printed cotton bags primarily for the European market. They believe in fair trade principles and their bags are produced in an environment that reflects the ethical beliefs. They support a sewing and printing unit that provides sustainable livelihood opportunities, under fair conditions, for a long-marginalised village community in Southern India. In the UK, they have a network of sympathetic volunteers who develop and inform the client base and foster links between them all. It has developed into a strong people-to-people enterprise, a partnership between producers and individual consumers, based on mutual trust and respect.

EthiCo

EthiCo was set up to tackle the ever-growing issue of how much waste we produce as a society. This company was founded by a group of students from the University of Southampton who came together to help tackle the issue of plastic waste. They truly believe in REDUCING, REUSING and RECYCLING, so, have provided products that help you to do this at home. They even make sure every aspect of the company is environmentally friendly and ethically sound, covering everything from the suppliers to the bank they’re with. Not only do they supply products, they also campaign against the environmental issues and work hard to reduce the plastic waste in the community. By working with EthiCo, you are investing in your local community as they promote small independent businesses and work closely with a range of businesses in Southampton.
