Welcome to the official web-site of the Riseley Historical Society

From the Chairman - Phillip Nicholls

The Society was formed in 1998 and has some sixty members in the village. We arrange a full programme of talks which take place in the village hall on the last Tuesday evening of each month and during the summer months organize visits to places of interest. Visitors are always welcome to our meetings.
We have published several books on the history of Riseley which reveal aspects of village life and the people involved. The books are still available and are rich in photographs and memories of the people of the village.
The second edition of 'Riseley Our Village' is now on sale @ £15 per copy. It includes the many changes that have taken place in the village since the first edition in the year 2000 as well as more information of Riseley History.
