Pontefract in Bloom is a voluntary community group with the aim of enhancing Pontefract with flowers. We achieve this through voluntary activity, grant applications and sponsorship from local businesses and individuals. We also collaborate with other community organisations: Day Opportunities, Friends of Pontefract Park, Friends of Friarwood Valley Gardens, Pontefract and Castleford Lions Club, St Giles' Church, schools and Pontefract Civic Society.
