The Club meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons from 2-4pm in the village hall with the aim of encouraging social contact in a welcoming environment for elderly members of the community via a varied programme of speakers, entertainers, coach outings, parties etc., together with games, quizzes, bingo and an afternoon chat with friends over a cup of tea.
The club also supports local activities through its activities and has made contributions to a number of local organisations for example Essex Air Ambulance, Age Concern Essex, Little Havens and Farleigh Hospices.
