There is a whole host of events lined up at the Museum this year, beginning with a collaboration with Museums Essex as Maldon Museum in the Park will be taking part in their countywide scheme, Wheels of Time, to attract more visitors to museums around Essex.
The Museum's first pop up exhibition of the year in Room 9 is called "Last Orders" - The Lost Pubs of the Maldon District. This exhibit will focus on 10 pubs in particular from Maldon and the District and will give a potted history of their existence. This exhibit will open on Sunday 14th April and will run until Sunday 30th June.
Maldon Museum in the Park will also be hosting a special exhibition called "Changing Track" and will focus on climate and the local environmental changes and will look at what people can do to lower their own carbon footprint. There are interactive displays and contributions from local organisations and groups towards the exhibition.
