Call To Worship

Leader:  The world belongs to the Lord,

People: The earth and her people are in the hands of God.

Leader: How good it is, how lovely it is,

People: To live together in unity.

Leader: Love and faith come together,

People: Justice and peace join hands.

Leader: If the Lord’s disciples keep silent,

People: These stones would shout aloud!

Leader: Lord, open our lips,

People: And our mouths shall proclaim your praise. AMEN

1. O God of strength and everlasting kindness,

we come to you with hearts and minds unsure.

May your great love surround and ease the anxious

and be the light which shines through shuttered doors.

2. When worries surge and all is in disorder,

when in the storm we cannot find safe harbour,

we ask for your protection and your care.

3. When life itself torments and overwhelms us,

when stressful days con some our fragile souls,

in conflict, pain, and turmoil, Lord remind us
