Kilrenny Parish Church is the (Church of Scotland) parish church located in the village of Kilrenny.
As of 1st January 2026 a new chapter in the long history of Kilrenny Church begins. As part of the Fife Presbytery Mission Plan the four churches of the Rural Alliance: Kingsbarns, Kilrenny, Largoward and Carnbee have united to become a single parish. Each of our churches was in Guardianship, except Carnbee which is currently linked with Pittenweem, and each Church is too small as an individual church to have a long-term future. Carnbee will dissolve the linkage they are currently in with Pittenweem and join the union. During February there will be a vote on lnking with the parish of Ceres, Kemback and Springfield. This will allow us to be part of a larger entity led by the Rev Jane Barron and there will also be provision for an Ordained Local Minister within the new setup. The intention going forward is to maintain Sunday worship in all four churches.
