Highcliffe Friends in Need (HFiN) is a Community Interest Group. This is a non-profit organisation managed by people within the area it serves. It has two sections - Coordinators, and Drivers and is managed by a Committee, headed by a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.

No member of HFiN is paid for the role they perform but the running costs, telephone, computer and software, room hire for the AGM and Driver's Meetings, driver expenses (paid up to the maximum allowed by HMRC), are funded from the client donations. The balance each year is distributed to local charities. At the 2025 AGM, £1,500 was distributed between three local charities and, at the 2026 AGM, £2,000 was shared between four local charities.
