(BH23 “4 “and BH23 “5” Postcodes)

If so, Highcliffe Friends in Need may be able to find a volunteer driver
to drive you to your appointment and back home again.

Call one of our volunteer coordinators on 01425 524100
09:30am to 12:30pm - Monday to Friday (except public holidays)

  • You will need to book a week in advance where possible – a minimum of at least 2 weekdays notice.
  • Transport is provided in the volunteer driver’s own car; the driver is only responsible for you whilst you are in their car and covered by their car insurance.
  • Clients requiring assistance, especially when attending appointments, will need to be accompanied by a friend or carer.
  • We are unable to take clients in wheelchairs, but mobility aids can usually be accommodated, please make the coordinator aware of which type you have when you book.
  • Users of the scheme will be invited to make a suggested voluntary donation to cover the driver's costs.
  • We cannot always guarantee being able to meet your needs, but we will do our best to assist you.
