Residents exercising their dogs on the playing fields are reminded that their dog should be under control at all times. Under The Dangerous Dogs Act 2021 you may be liable if your dog attacks or threatens to attack other animals or people.
It is very important that dog walkers remove all dog faeces from the ground. There are several dog waste bins around the fields where bags of poo can be deposited. Please don't put them in the litter bins. If you run out of dog bags there are some free bags, provided by the Parish Council, in the Village Hall lobby and the Village Store. Dogs should never be allowed in the fenced play area.
Residents and Hall hirers can apply for a key for the locked courts area, which can be used for exercising ones own dogs. It is especially useful for dogs that don't have recall to be able to run off the lead. The form to apply for a key is here. You will be required to pay a fee of £5 if you lose the key.
