THE VILLAGE FETE 2024

This year's Village Fete was on the afternoon of Saturday 6th. July, and the Fete Committee have now done the final wash-up for this exciting fund raiser for the Village Hall and All Saints' Church.

The overall purpose of this fun event was to bring the community together and raise funds for the Vilage Hall and All Saints' Church. For a £20 fee, local businesses or individuals were able to have a stall.

Last year the Fete made a profit of £4,590, which was shared equally between the Charity and All Saints'. The Chariity's share contributed to the cost of installation of the solar panels on the Village Hall roof.

This year the Fete made a profit of £2,600 which has been shared between Hanna's Field Charity and All Saints' Church. The reduction in profit against the previous year was put down to the rainy weather preventing people from attending, but those who came had a good time. There is an album of pictures under Photos.

FIREWORKS AND HALLOWEEN FUN

The Charity organised Fireworks & Halloween Fun events in 2021, 2022 & 2023, with profits shared with All Saints Church.  The 2023 profit was down on the previous two years, and the Fund-\Raising Committee decided to pause the event for this year and take stock.

ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION AND SALE 2024

The Charity organises and Art Exhibition and Sale in the autumn, with a display of art work in a wide range of media, by local artisits. For information about this event please contact ehartfair@gmail.com .

The 2023 event raised just over £2,500, which also contributed to the solar panel installation.

The proceeds from this year's events are going to help fund replacement equipment at the play area at Hanna's Field.

There is a stock of about 5,000 pre-loved books, dvds and cds.  The sales take place at the Fete and Art Exhibition and on other Saturday mornings in between.  The shelves are full at the moment, so new stock not needed at the moment.
